As a resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina my whole life, (better known as Fort Bragg in the military world) I should have known what it was like to be part of the Army. But growing up around it did not necassarily give me that insight.

Our First Essay Contest Across the Service Branches
So, We did a thing over here at Army Wife Network. We held an essay contest across all branches of the military as well as the Department of Defense civilian population.
