In putting one foot in front of the other leads me to the 1972 Olympian and Navy veteran, Jeff Galloway. In 2015 Galloway was inducted into the Marine Corps Marathon Hall of Fame. One of the greatest contributions to the sport has been the Run Walk Run method for runners at every level.
What Is Motivation? The process that starts, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors is what we define as motivation. Motivation causes us to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge.
