It’s hard to truly encapsulate what a loss feels like in just words. Although time has been kind and some form of healing has taken place, sometimes (like waves crashing on a cliff) the pain just hits you.

The Revolving Door
When I try to express what military life feels like, after (16 years) I think of a gigantic revolving door. The door leads in and out in a circle, but the building inside holds halls and rooms filled with memories of all kinds.
Why Not?
As I mentioned in my last post, The Vow Not Taken, my life is indeed a hot mess. In this post, I will let you see more of the “hot mess express” as I explain the consquences of saying two small words (why and not) in the same sentence!
To the “Vow” Not Taken: Meet Ally, Our Newest Blogger
Everyone makes a vow in their lifetime. Most of them probably have something to do with marriage. As a military child growing up, I vowed (and I mean vowed like it was a Latin Novela Scene, shouting at the sky to no one really) to NEVER, ever marry into the military.
