Located in West Central Louisiana, Fort Polk is home to the Joint Readiness Training Center. It is one of three of the Army’s Combat Training Centers, and it trains more than 11 Army and National Guard Brigade Combat Teams every year. It is the fifth largest military installation by acreage in the nation.

Eglin Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in Northwest Florida in Okaloosa County, comprising 640 square miles. Eglin is a major tourist attraction because of its white sand beaches and situation near Fort Walton Beach. It is only 60 miles from Pensacola and 65 miles from Panama City Beach.

The host unit at Eglin is the 96th Test Wing and it is the test and evaluation center for Air Force air-delivered weapons, navigation and guidance systems, Command and Control systems, and the Air Force Special Operations Command systems.

It is located 37 miles northeast of Barstow, California. NTC is part of the U.S. Army Forces Command.

EYB: Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA

Known for its association with Transportation, Aviation, and the Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Eustis (as its known in the Army world) is formally called Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Developed to meet the needs of the US during World War I, the installation was temporarily transferred to the Bureau of Prisons during the Great Depression before being reactivated to meet the needs of World War II and the Cold War. It has been in continuous operation ever since. It is the home of the 7th Transportation Brigade, currently one of the Army’s most deployed brigades.
