MyCAA Scholarship Available for Milspouses

One of the biggest obstacles for people looking to go back to school is funding. But that doesn’t necessarily need to be the case. There are plenty of scholarships available out there for many different people. In fact, the MyCAA program can provide military spouses up to $4,000 to advance their education.

Less than 20% of eligible candidates actually take advantage of the MyCAA program, which means thousands of dollars in scholarships go unclaimed. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Eligibility Requirements for the MyCAA Program

To qualify for the MyCAA scholarship program, your service member must be on active duty and his or her pay grade must fall within a specific range. One of the most common reasons that many eligible military spouses don’t take advantage of the MyCAA program is because they believe they don’t qualify. Make sure to check your situation and find out for sure whether or not you can take advantage of this scholarship opportunity.

MyCAA Targets Junior Military Spouses

In order to maintain funding and give this opportunity to as many military spouses as possible, eligibility for the MyCAA program is limited to junior military spouses—those whose service members are in the rank of E1-E5, W1-W2, and O1-O2. These spouses are new to the challenges of living in a military family, and many of them are new to their careers and could benefit from specialized training. These are the people who are considered to have the greatest need.

Free Tuition When You Enroll with Career Step

If you qualify for the MyCAA program, you can take an online career training program through Career Step, designed to give you the specific training and skills you need to immediately begin working upon graduation, all for free. Even those who don’t qualify for MyCAA are eligible for special military tuition discounts.
