From Hooah to Hope

I’ve been an Army spouse for almost 22 years, and I’ve been an Army mom for a little more than 22 hours at the time of this writing.

At least that’s how long it’s been since I left my daughter to be transported from the Houston MEPS station to basic training.

Stop Comparing

Leaving a legacy behind is a tall order. Some of us can barely leave each duty station with all our kids in the car! But as spouses of an all-volunteer fighting force, we become immersed in and attached to our communities very quickly. Eventually, we stumble upon or become givers.
