Sharita Knobloch, EdD
Board President

Dr. Sharita Knobloch has been married to her beloved infantryman husband for 12 years. She holds a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling: Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.
Sharita is mama, a smallish dog owner, aspiring runner, writer, speaker, and spiritual leadership coach. She has been with Mission: Milspouse (formerly Army Wife Network) since February 2014. In 2020, she was named Armed Forces Insurance Fort Bliss Military Spouse of the Year.
Sharita is currently a dissertation chair for 18 students in the Department of Community Care and Counseling (School of Behavioral Sciences) at Liberty University. She is also the Military Spouse Liaison for a new mental health treatment clinic in El Paso called Katie’s Way.
Sharita gets really excited about office supplies and journal shopping, is a certified auctioneer, overuses hashtags on a regular basis with #NoShame and frequently uses #America! as a verb.
Sharita also serves as Executive Director on the Mission: Milspouse Command Team.

Sarah Robichaud

Sarah is a Maryland native who married her husband, Andrew, in 2012. Since then, she has had the opportunity to live in Georgia (twice), Germany, Texas, Virginia, and now Michigan. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salisbury University and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University.
The majority of Sarah’s time is spent rocking the stay-at-home-mom life with her two amazing children, Emily (7) and Logan (5). She also has two small dogs and an out-of-control vegetable garden. During her free time, you can probably find Sarah out for a jog or playing at the beach.
Sarah also serves on the Mission: Milspouse Command Team as Director of Administration.

Chrissy Gibbs
Board Treasurer

Chrissy married her husband in 2010 and jumped right into her milspouse role. She knew that life would be more adventurous and sometimes more difficult, but it would always be worth it.
She had previously received her teaching degrees from Niagara University in Special Education and spent a few years teaching, but once she began having children, she chose to put those talents to work in her own home. Chrissy is a mother to four energetic boys and one husky pup (also a male), so you could say she’s the queen of the castle! Chrissy and her family are currently living in Germany!
In her free time, you can find her working out, at a playdate with close friends, on the hunt for the next geocache, or hiding away binge-watching her favorite guilty pleasure TV shows.
Chrissy has served on the Mission: Milspouse Command Team since 2020, first as Content Curator and now as Director of Development.

Paulette Fryar

Paulette Fryar is a Coast Guard Spouse, mother of four grown boys, an Air Force Mom, small business owner, and an avid military spouse community volunteer. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Paulette has lived in Juneau, AK, Portland, OR, Portsmouth, VA, Seattle, WA, Washington DC, St Louis, MO, Vancouver, WA and O’Fallon, IL.
Paulette was selected as the 2020-21Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year and Coast Guard Spouse of the Year. She was the first Coast Guard spouse in history to win the overall Military Spouse of the Year honors. She co-founded The Million Mile Project, reinforcing awareness to PTSD and promoting military and veteran suicide prevention. Paulette is also a strong advocate for young mothers, serves as a mentor in the Military Mothers of Preschoolers Organization (MOPS), and continues to give back to the next generation of military families. Her motto is #TogetherWeAreStronger

Major Joseph Mason

Chaplain (MAJ) Joseph R. Mason, of Salem, OR serves as the Deputy Division Chaplain for 4th Infantry Division, and is stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. He entered the Army in 2002 through Officer Candidate School, receiving a commission in the Ordnance Corps. He began service as a chaplain in 2012. His most recent assignment as chaplain was serving as Command Chaplain for Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, forward deployed in Erbil, Iraq (21-22), before transitioning to his current role in CO.
Chaplain Mason is an ordained minister of the General Baptist Convention of Texas. In addition to his Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., Chaplain Mason holds a Master of Divinity degree from Faith Evangelical Seminary in Tacoma, WA, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Oregon University, Monmouth, OR.
Chaplain Mason is married to his wife of 21 years, Candace. Together they have four children: Wyatt (18), Owen (16), Ruby (13), and Chloe Joy (8).

Julie Cooley

Julie loves being a military spouse, an entrepreneur, an advocate, and a community leader. As a leader with Every Warrior, Julie worked to develop strategic plans and innovative leadership practices with a team of 20 lead volunteers and directors.
Julie’s advocacy efforts have helped to secure funding for military spouses to obtain transferable employment skills, and nationally has consulted on such projects as the Department of Labor project focusing on Military Spouse Occupational License Legislation implementation and best practices.
Julie is an avid volunteer serving on numerous boards and committees in each community she is located. As a Reserve spouse, she advocates for understanding and support of our Guard and Reserve families through leadership opportunities with organizations like Louisiana’s ESGR and is proud to serve as the lead for our local Military Spouse Professional Network with Hiring Our Heroes. As an Air Force mother, Julie focuses on taking care of our youngest and newest members as they transition into the military.

Scot Shumski

Scot currently resides in Fort Lee in, Virginia with his U.S. Army active-duty wife, Julia Flores, and their three children, Hunter, Eva, and Acadia. Prior to his wife joining the military, Scot held careers in the corporate, political, and non-profit worlds.
It was at the Close Up Foundation where Scot worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator, striving to increase civic participation among America’s high school students. During his corporate tenure, Scot was a Subcontract Manager for General Dynamics Armament Systems. There he managed supply chain components for various Gatling as well as crew-served weapon systems such as the M2, MK19, and MK47, among others.
Since joining the military family, Scot has served as treasurer for a spouses club, various CYS sports coaching positions, and has become the first male writer for Army Wife Network, now Mission: Milspouse.
Today Scot is involved with developing and operating RadishNFT, web3’s home for NFT knowledge, opportunity, and community. RadishNFT is presently in beta testing.

Anna Larson

Anna Larson is a copywriter and digital marketing strategist. She is passionate about three things: supporting entrepreneurship, building up military spouses, and finding adventures. As owner of NomadAbout, Anna helps entrepreneurs and other business owners showcase what they are passionate about and how they do it better than anyone else through social media, custom-designed websites, and marketing campaigns. She co-hosts the 15{ish} Minute Coffee Chat – a weekly live stream/podcast for small business owners and contributes regularly to a number of military publications with a focus on supporting transitioning and retiring military families. Previously, she served as an experience blogger for Army Wife Network.
After 22+ years supporting her active-duty military spouse and moving across Europe, Africa, and the United States, her family made the leap into military retirement. They are forging new paths together – two kids and two dogs in tow! She’s a long-time homeschool mom that loves dance parties, popcorn, camping, and snorkeling in the ocean. In her spare time, you’ll find her traveling the world and seeking out adventures with her family.

Heidi Kock

Heidi has been married to her husband Mark for 17 years and together they have five amazing children: Landan (15), Eva (14), Paytan (13), Ella (11), and Marcus (9). As a family, they have always lived on a farm raising cattle and pigs. Heidi was a stay-at-home mom until her youngest went to school, and since then has helped open a number of coffee shops in four different towns.
She currently is a customer service representative for a local bank. Four years ago, she became a milspouse when Mark joined the South Dakota Air National Guard and has since weathered her first deployment. Heidi enjoys hanging out with friends and family and loves to travel, bake, and scrapbook. Her faith in the Lord is what gets her through life and all the changes over past years.
