Everyone has a passion for something, something they love to do and can’t imagine not having as a part of their lives. It could be that you love cooking or that you love to decorate your home. Whatever it may be, there is a passion out there for everyone.
If you’re like me, you may be trying to prolong the warm nights, barbecues with new friends, and suntans as long as possible. Lucky for me, Alabama stays warm for quite some time after August ends, so our summer weather is here to stay for a bit longer. Why not help it last longer with some scrumptious summer snacks?
I am in the midst of PCSing! Woo hoo! (Who would have thought I would be so excited to head back to Fort Rucker, Alabama? After three years in Korea, they could have sent us anywhere not in Korea and I would have been thrilled.) Because I am PCSing, I thought I’d go a different route this month, and list the 30 websites I’m thankful for.
Summer is in full swing, but have you been delaying a summer vacation because it all just seems too expensive? It doesn’t have to be that way, and you don’t need to spend lots of cash to create lasting memories. Living on a budget doesn’t equal living a boring legacy. Take time this summer to have fun—just be intentional about it.
For more military families, a PCS brings a lot of change. For me, it was the start of married life with my service member. I left a familiar and comfortable home in New York City to embark on an amazing journey. Traveling was the fun part. Once the dust settled and we got all the moving boxes inside our first apartment, however, we had our work cut out for us.
Six months.
I’ve been writing down one thing I am thankful for every day for six months (January, February, March, April, and May), and I’m surprised I’m still finding things for which to be thankful.
