Most know what the powerhouse of the cell is…but do most people know essential life skills? Life Skills for Soldiers is a 501c3 veteran run nonprofit whose mission is to improve service-members’ lives through life skills education. Their vision is to create a platform and leverage the train-the-trainer methodology to make it easy for all military leaders to teach their troops valuable life skills.​ They create classes that are tailored to a military audience on practical topics such as how to make a budget and how to buy a car. They then leverage a learning management software to teach military leaders not only the topic, but how to teach their troops the topic. By doing this troops are much more likely to learn and leaders are empowered to strengthen their unit by showing their troops that they care.
