Yesterday marks three years. I remember it as I do every other unforgettable annual event. Except, days before this anniversary, I begin to reflect and remember. I re-feel the events as I remember them. I feel the fear, then the relief, then the sorrow and loss.

A Year of Thanks: November
I can’t believe how fast this year has blown by. This is my favorite time of year, because everyone seems more giving, forgiving, and willing to give thanks. There’s something in the air. Recapping the year, you can check out January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October.
How to Prepare for a House Hunting Trip
Aside from a couple of incredibly organized friends who don’t have to account for children, pets, and other such accoutrements that make house hunting more challenging, most military families who received orders for a summer move have not yet found a home. For the most part, fortunately, they’ve moved beyond the denial stage to accept the reality of the situation—moving will happen this summer, so the two processes of packing and house hunting must begin!

‘Tis the season. The holidays are here again, and my humans just never learn. They’re running around like someone just yelled “Cat!,” and threatening the young boy with coal if he isn’t good. These are odd times.
It’s Not as Easy as I Thought it Would Be
I know. When you read that title, you probably thought, “me, too!” You did, didn’t you? It’s not as easy as I thought it would be, either.
The funny thing is, you didn’t know what I’d be writing about, and in the end, it doesn’t really matter. It could be anything in life, because when changes come—even when we think we’re prepared for them—it’s never quite what you think it’s going to be, and you have to learn how to adapt and overcome.
