My husband and I are opposites in so many ways, but most noticeably when it comes to the introverted vs. extroverted rankings.

Phil’s extroversion has played well into his military career. One time, he was staying in the barracks at Fort McCoy where there were open-bay toilets. He said he sat so close to the next man on the toilet that he could read his newspaper and joke around while each man did his “business.”

So, each year, we pack way too much stuff, muster as much enthusiasm we think we need, in order to travel 300, 800, 2,000 miles, and we hop in the car or board a plane.
