Hello listeners! On this wonderful episode of AWTR we interview guest Jill Waters from the Military Family Readiness Council. The MFRC is comprised of spouses, parents of service members, higher officials, and service members from each branch to discuss policies, procedures, plans, and initiatives that support military families globally. Meetings are open to the public, and the last meeting of the year holds a vote on which council initiatives to put in place. The intent of the MFRC is to meet quarterly in Washington, D.C., to collaborate, strategize, and make recommendations to the Secretary of Defense to support and enhance military family readiness.
