I know your story.
They’re all, of course, unique, but the blueprint is the same.
You fell in love.
You got married right out of high school. If not then, maybe a year or two later.

What is a personal stylist? What do they really do? Do I actually need one? How expensive are they? Are they worth it?
Let’s break it down.
A personal stylist is simply a person who advises.
As I sat and thought about my 2019 word back in December, I had to ask myself where I wanted to be in a year.
Where did I feel like I wasn’t giving my best effort? What about myself would I like to see improved, a trait I’d like to see strengthen? And almost like a wrecking ball, the word “intentional” started showing up everywhere. In my Facebook and Instagram feeds, in books I was reading, in conversations with dear friends. I felt like this was the word I needed to focus on in 2019.
In 2016, we learned that my husband would be sent to Korea for a year. I battled back and forth with different options, but ultimately decided to stay with my parents while he was gone. By February 2017, we were living with my parents and began the process of settling in. Three of our four children began school the same day we registered them, but our youngest son, Isaiah, would not be as fortunate.
If you’ve had a loved one deployed, then you probably know that the first and last weeks of deployment usually feel the longest. There’s so much to do, and the days drag by slowly. To help you out, I’ve compiled a list of must-dos during that last painful week. You’re welcome in advance!
Did you know that Feb. 17 is National Act of Kindness Day? I mean, honestly, every day is “a day,” but how great is this one?! It’s better than National Walk Around Things Day, National Lumpy Rug Day, and National Paper Bag Day (yes, I kid you not, these are actual “days” held on April 4, May 3, and July 12, respectively), but I digress.
Back to something a little more personally fulfilling.
