Spoken from a true man who is a master at compartmentalizing. I wonder if this is something Soldiers learn in the Army or is this just a superpower that all men have? Either way, he’s not wrong, and it did put this experience of surviving cancer in a clearer perspective.

What a time of the year to utter the word “contentment” when we are inundated with things to buy, places to go, people to see, keeping up with the latest trends, trying to fulfill items on our loved one’s gift lists. All this while managing our own list of demands that is neverending.
The United States Army’s history began with its inception in 1775. The history of the past 247 years has created numerous Army traditions. Many are still practiced today and trace their roots back to these very beginnings, like making toasts, a spouse’s coffee, a military ball, or standing for the nation’s flag.
Music brings esprit de corps; it lifts our spirit and joins people together! With all its bumps, merges and winding roads, we hope you are enjoying rolling alongside your soldier in the Army!
