MMP Show #952: Veteran’s Last Patrol

Our veterans served America. They protected us and our way of life. We must stand by them. Our veterans know about patrolling land, sea, and air. Veterans in hospice are on their final fight and in their last patrol. And that’s where Veteran’s Last Patrol comes in.

For the Love of Reading

My grandmother loved to read. Although reading didn’t come naturally to me, her ability to engage my interest in books, reading, and writing directly impacted who I am today.

The Warrior’s Compass

When Hope For the Warriors, came up with the idea for Warrior’s Compass, we had one thing in mind: assisting our veteran community in different ways to navigate their civilian career search.

Running Away from the Silly Things

Don’t worry about silly things! Get out there, have fun, and keep on running.

Linda Tice is a member of the Baltimore Road Runners Club and progressed like many others. The start was one step at a time and as others shared advice Linda turned to help others. You can read the journey which Linda has taken.

AWTR Show #923: Going Beyond, “Thank you for your service”

Thank you should be seen as an icebreaker and not an ending. Going beyond, “Thank you for your service” can be easy and creates a more meaningful conversation. Some good follow-up questions are: what branch did you serve in or what was your job? These questions will help to form a deeper more authentic connection with the person you want to thank.

Military Spouse and Caregiver Scholarship

Since its inception Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) has strived to support the entire military through its programs, particularly spouses and caregivers. We all know that the entire family serves, and many continue to serve even after their warrior is out of the service due to injuries and unforeseen life changes from said injuries.
