EYB: USAREC in Nashville, TN

USAREC Nashville is part of the 3rd Recruiting Brigade, and the Nashville Battalion encompasses more than 60,000 miles in 165 counties that span across Tennessee, Kentucky, and portions of Indiana, Illinois, and Virginia. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, this battalion includes three Military Entrance Processing Stations—two of which are in Tennessee (and one in Kentucky) and operates through 37 recruiting stations.  

EYB: Fort Bliss, Texas

Located at the foot of Franklin Mountains lies Fort Bliss, Texas, the hub of the US Army 1st Armored Division. It is the home of training future Sergeant Majors, as well as the home of the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, 5th Armored Bridge, and 93rd Military Police Battalion. The area always seems to be growing and changing, so there may be many more things you find when arriving at Fort Bliss and surrounding El Paso Area. Enjoy the breathtaking views of mountain ranges, the near year-round sunshine and the many things to do offered in the area.

Located in south-eastern providence of Limburg, Netherlands next to Belgium and Luxemburg, lies USAG Benelux-Schinnen, Netherlands. It is called a tri-country base, serving Belgium, Germany, and The Netherlands. USAG Benelux-Schinnen is the most widely dispersed garrison in United States Army Europe.

Fort Belvoir is located on the Virginia-Maryland border, relatively close to the nation’s capital. Fort Belvoir is surrounded by other cities, making this location a more metropolitan area than other duty stations. Fort Belvoir includes three components—the main base, Davison Army Airfield, and Fort Belvoir North Area—and houses two major command headquarters, 10 major commands, 19 Army agencies, eight Reserve and Guard elements, and elements from other military branches.

Located at the official end of the Alcan Highway, the highway connecting the contiguous United States to Alaska, in the very small community of Delta Junction, Fort Greely is situated between the White Mountains and the Alaska Range. It is home to the nation’s arsenal of ground-based interceptor missiles. The post also hosts the Army’s Cold Regions Test Center and supports rotational units who train in the Donnelly Training Area, also known as the DTA. Fort Greely is also the only installation to close under BRAC and reopen.

EYB: Fort Meade, Maryland

Located in Maryland, midway between the cities of Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C., Fort George G. Meade lies four miles east of Interstate 95 and one-half mile east of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Fort Meade is situated within the communities of Odenton, Laurel, Severn, Jessup, and Columbia. BWI Airport is a convenient 20 minutes away from Fort Meade.
