Relationships

There are countless relationships to balance in this milspouse life. Our kids, friends, neighbors, spouses coworkers, and of course,  our service members!

Relationships need communication, compromise, and the ability to adapt.  Command Team has decades worth of experience navigating these situations and share their professional and personal knowledge on various relationship topics.

Some topics include how to have thriving friendships, raise resilient kids, have a loving marriage and overcome obstacles with others and yourself. We want you to thrive in relationships because, in this milspouse life, we need support and community. So, join our Mission: Milspouse community and learn how to better relate to yours on this page.

A Decade With You

A Decade With You

I recently hit a big milestone. The United States Army has now owned a piece of my heart for 10 years, a whole decade—and I never even signed the papers to join. Well, actually, I did sign a paper. I signed my wedding certificate.

My husband and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We commemorated it with a small but delicious meal he cooked us at 9 p.m. when he was back from one of many days of training exercises. And, I offered him some new treats I attempted to create, where my skill level was that of our children.

Lucky 13 Marriage Tips

I have been crafting my art piece of love with my husband for more than 13 years now. We met and fell in love 15 years ago and recently celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. While I wish I could say that marriage has been easy with every brushstroke, I cannot.
