How do I know what region I’m in?

 

Where you live determines your region. Regions only apply to the following health plans:

 

  • TRICARE Prime
  • TRICARE Prime Overseas
  • TRICARE Select
  • TRICARE Select Overseas
  • TRICARE Young Adult
  • TRICARE Reserve Select
  • TRICARE Retired Reserve

 

If you live in:   You’re a part of the:  
 Alaska                Arkansas*
 Arizona              California
 Colorado            Hawaii
 Idaho                 Indiana*
 Illinois                Iowa
 Kansas              Louisiana
 Minnesota         Missouri*
 Montana            Nebraska 
 Nevada             New Mexico 
 North Dakota    Oklahoma

 West Region Contractor:

Check to see if your ZIP code is in the East or West by going to the TRICARE Changes page. In the far-right navigation bar, enter your ZIP code into the tool called “What’s my TRICARE region in 2025?”
