MyCAA: Approved Ways of Using Your Scholarship Funds

Through the MyCAA program, eligible military spouses can receive up to $4,000 to further their education. After determining whether or not you qualify, you need to find out what you can actually do with these funds. So what studies or programs are actually covered by MyCAA?

What You Can Do With MyCAA Funding

If you are eligible for funding through the MyCAA program, you can receive money to pay for training leading to an associate’s degree. You can also use the funds in pursuit of a license, certificate, or certification from an accredited school within the United States, or to pay tuition in an approved testing organization to help you gain a suitable career.

The MyCAA program does have some limits though. It cannot be used to pay for courses previously taken, non-academic credit, or ungraded courses, general studies liberal arts, living expenses, or even fees or student activities. You can find a more comprehensive list on the official MyCAA Fact Sheet from Military OneSource.
