It’s the spooky season. Well, depending on when this comes out, it’ll at least be deep into autumn.
Whether it’s October or November, there’s a lotta similar activities to enjoy and do.
I feel like during this time, the best way to spend it is with people you love and care about.
I would argue that’s how you should always be, but there’s something about the colder, more colorful weather that makes me feel this way.
Here are some autumn activities to do.
If you’re in the Halloween mood, your best bet is to pop in a scary movie.
Now, if you’re a wuss like me, it doesn’t have to be a scary movie. It can just be a Halloween-themed movie.
I love “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. It’s an all-time classic in my home. Now that movie is great because you can watch it during the spooky season, or the Christmas season.
Speaking of colder seasons, if you like Charlie Brown, pop one of those guys in.
Charlie Brown has tons of great movies and specials that revolve around the holidays.
I practically grew up watching Charlie and Snoopy and Linus and the rest of the gang playing football and learning about the Mayflower.
It’s funny that I brought up football because that takes us to our next point.
Football. This sport is just so “Fall” to me.
Why is that? Is it because I once played it during Thanksgiving? Or is it because of that one “Friends” episode where they separate into teams and go at it?
I’m not entirely sure, but I do know that this sport just reminds me of the weather.
Maybe because you’re running around and getting the blood pumping.
And it just feels right.
I’m one for any sport, whether it’s baseball or basketball, but there’s something special about football.
Heck, there’s something special about this season.
It only comes around once a year, so you might as well live it up and enjoy it. I know I can’t wait.
The leaves have already changed and look so beautiful. I live for this kind of stuff. Go out there and enjoy this weather while we have it!
