We most often go about our days dwelling or denying something. We might get so fixated on something that appears bigger than it is, that we do not see the obvious solution.
EXPERIENCE BLOGS
We all need a little perspective sometimes and here at Mission: Milspouse, we have everything from sage advice to your spirit animal in blog form. We understand that the voices of military spouses and supporters are the best kinds of companions on this journey.
Need ideas? We got them. Need resources? We got those too. Our writers have walked before you, they stand behind you, and with each blog, they will walk WITH you!
Love in a Coffee Cup
I’m a big coffee connoisseur. I love scoping out local coffee shops, or my favorite chains, and trying all their specialty or seasonal coffee drinks. And when it’s been a rough several months, I hit those coffee shops more often.
Identity
Changing doesn’t mean we have to leave behind our old identities, change invites us into new growth.
Getting to the Solution
As we all know, most military spouses don’t get emotional (at least not for long) when faced with adversity (no soldier to travel with). We immediately go to the solution. We take it one step at a time, knowing there will be hiccups, but we persevere.
The ONE!
It happens all the time on home buying TV shows, you walk into a house and angels sing, the light is shinning so perfectly on the stainless steel appliances, it smells of fresh baked cookies, and you instantly know it’s the ONE.
Eat His Cereal While He’s Gone
You ever do that? Anticipate an event so much that by the time whatever you’re looking forward to happens, you kind of just miss the actual moment. It comes and goes without even a whisper of the mental attention you gave it beforehand.
