Planning Your way Into 2024!

What a year 2023 has been! Difficulties and beginnings of new adventures. I am sure 2024 will be full of new opportunities for us to express ourselves and take care of ourselves.

We all have resolutions and goals for the new year, but it rases a few questions on the “how” of it all.

For example, how do we properly achieve them? What are some ways we can help ourselves reach our short and midterm goals this year?

We all need a jumping off point. Thankfully, there are goal aids and programs available to us!

Organization is a love language and being able to write things down in an organized manner it just gives me a happiness high beyond this realm. Being able to organize my life gives me a clear view of how I can make my next move.

So many ways to get started on 2024!

I think that setting goals and resolutions is a wonderful way to start off your new year. What better way to help you reach those goals and tackle your resolutions than getting a planner. Everyone has different methods of keeping their lives in order, but using a planner has really helped me keep my mind focused and give me gentle reminders on what I need to do in order to plan ahead and effectively execute what I want to do.

In this day and age, there are so many electronic and digital options, but I found that nothing beats a good paper planner- especially in this chaotic military life so many of us are living.

My personal favorite are the Erin Condren planners!

I first discovered her planners in 2019. I bought my first one in the winter of 2019 to help plan my meals and class assignments. Erin Condren planners are a godsend!

The planners are cute and customizable. For example, you can either get your name put on the front or for the cover you can put family photos as a collage along with your name across the front. The paper inside the planner is quite thick and you can use almost any type of fountain pen on there without the ink bleeding through.

A personal favorite thing about these planners is that they come with stickers.

You can mark off special occasions, appointments, meetings, extracurricular activities for yourself or for your kids, or just spa days. Since then, those planners have branched out into diverse types of planner’s options.

For example, there are now separate planners for meal planning, goal planning and academic planners. She has even produced a separate style of planner that is specifically for teachers that need to write lesson plans.

They have extravagant planners and minimalist planners. Planners with covers and planners that are regular steel ringed.

These are my favorite style of planners to help organize my life.

It can help me reach my goals for the year or even for the month because I liked her to write things down and have a timeline of when I need to complete or do something. I’ve even used these planners and notebooks to help create crochet projects or take down little notes about things I’ve needed to do throughout the day.

One planner I’m extremely interested in getting this year is a goals planner so I can keep track of my life now that I am reentering the workforce. I’m honestly more excited about this planner than I am anything else! After being at home for so long it will feel nice to have something to keep my wife in order and to feel like a real adult again.

This way, I can keep track of my workout schedule and my kids’ school and after school program schedules. I may or may not venture into meal planning, but we will see!

I think that setting goals and resolutions is a wonderful way to start off your new year.

I hope this small impromptu review of what feels like the world’s best planner was helpful. I wish you all a happy new year and good luck with things to come this year whether it is a new job, a new opportunity, or a new journey!

She and her husband have been married for six years and have two boys (2 and 5 years old) and are currently stationed in Washington, Illinois (for now at least). She is hoping her next assignment will take her back down South next because she does not enjoy snow filled winters! She is a stay at home mom with a knack for Crocheting (she actually turned her hobby into a side job- how cool is that?) She also enjoys yoga, podcasts, reading, thrifting, and exploring cities and villages. Most of her exploring various places is food related as she loves trying new foods (and finding cool tea rooms) so she can broaden her pallet. Not to mention, you always meet the nicest people in restaurants and bakeries! Anastassia is a fun-loving person who is always ready at a moment's notice to enjoy life, have fun, and make new friends.
