I’m a college kid, so late night talks and deadlines are part of my life. School’s back in session for me, and I’ve been doing a ton of writing as of late.

The cold weather comes every year, and we are faced with the decision to exercise or go into hibernation. The risk of hibernation is associated with eating more, and then when you step on the scale, there are an additional five pounds.

A Year After Deployment
One year ago today, I welcomed my husband home from deployment.
I suppose, at some point in the near future, I should stop telling people that he “just got back from Iraq.” But I can’t. Because to me, it really does still feel like he just got back, and I’ve been waiting for that to change for almost a whole year now.
